Remind Me

The sun shines down on the laughing pair of friends. The girl splashes the boy playfully.

"I got you Kukai!" She hurriedly ducks as he attempts revenge on her.

Not fast enough.

"And I got you back, Yaya," He grins.

Both cry out "too-late warnings" as a wave heads towards them rapidly.

She giggles, as she finds herself lying on his back. His face is pressed into the sand.

"Will you get off me?"

"Nope!"

In a sudden, unexpected move, he stands up, and brushes the sand off his swim trunks.

She flashes him a brilliant smile. "Meanie!" But they can both tell, she doesn't really care. Still, she throws some sand at him, if just to get even.

He thinks, will the good times ever end?

And just on cue, Amu magically arrives, spotting Kukai almost instantly. "Kukaaiii! You didn't forget, did you?! C'mon!"

Then suddenly, all those happy times are out of the door. And all that's left is the silent reminder of what he can't have. "Uhh...yeah Amu, I'm coming," He gives Yaya an awkward "I'm Sorry" face, which of course, being the stubborn girl she is, refuses to acknowledge.

"Oh! Hey Yaya! I guess Kukai was being stupid or something, because you see, we have plans today!" She says brightly. "I'm hope I'm not interrupting anything!"

You are, Yaya thinks. But she puts up her facade anyways. "Nah, I gotta get going anyways. I....needa babysit Tsubasa..."

"Well, have fun!" Amu pulls Kukai along with her, as Yaya waves goodbye with the sweestest, flashiest, and sickeningly-pretty smile she can muster.

Oh Kukai, I'll get back at you. Hell hath no fury a woman scorned.

Well...it's been a long enough time since I've read or watched anything to do with Shugo Chara. So I figured, I should write a fanfic for it :D I hope it doesn't suck too much ^^; I adore KukaixYaya, and no flames for liking it please. I keep my peace with KukaixUtau lovers.... (And it's pretty easy considering I haven't had anything to do with Shugo Chara for two or three months now) Err.....review please? If you don't know what to review....I have a couple questions actually. But before that, I have a couple things I need to address. Amu is awesome. But because I don't like KukaixUtau, I chose to make Amu the bitch of this story :D Seriously though, the only character I don't like is Utau. Which means I will never write about her, and that also means, I have no one to fill in as the bitch of this story...so I chose Amu, got it? And uhh....yeah, the last line is OOC (Out of Character) also, sorry for that. But I love that line. LOVE IT. :3 Okays, questions that I wanted to ask...

1) How OOC (Out of Character) were they? And do go into description for this. There were some things that I wanted OOC because Amu is not a bitch, and I love her. And those last two sentences were purposely OOC. :D Everyone has a dark/sad side to them, but that's taking it too far for Yaya in my opinion.

2) Was it too rushed? [I have a suspicion this was way too rushed, but I'd like to ask you guys anyways]

3) Spelling or grammar mistakes? Did I mess up tenses or anything like that? [I have this big issue with switching tenses when I'm not supposed to ^^;]

Please though, will you answer those questions? I genuinely want to know, and they'd be a lot more helpful than "Good job!" or "I don't really like this..." or even the extreme "This story sucks, don't ever write again!!1!11!"

Oh! And just gotta say...I wanted this to be a happy story. I really did. I tried hard to make it all energetic/bright/whateverISH/blablabla and everything..but gah, I failed. I really suck at writing happy stuff. It all turns out to be a big angsty/sad/madISH fic...as usual..
