Washcloth

The twins might well be the best host club members among them, Kyouya muses. Even better than Tamaki. It might be due to the fact that they are twins, and this close relationship that they have allows them to cooperate flawlessly. Also, besides having their wits, they always act accordingly to the plans they had come up with beforehand,—with a few back-up plans in case of any emergency—unlike a certain host club King who acts on his emotions, and is, basically, an idiot.

There is a high possibility that the squees coming from the group of females right now are a result of the twins' antics, and Kyouya turns to look at them, book and pen in hand; prepared to note down any observation that could be used to his advantage.

"How boring. Why are we being punished anyway?"

"Because you two had the audacity to trick me!" shouted an enraged Tamaki, breaking off his conversation with a customer for a moment to wag an accusing finger at the brothers.

The twins only shook their heads and sighed, picking up the rags from the floor and proceeding to clean the tables. A few customers looked on in sympathy and offered their assistance.

"Ah, it's okay. I have Hikaru to accompany me after all," Kaoru turned down their help with a smile, and turned over to Hikaru.

Hikaru only shrugged and grunted a 'whatever' in reply. At this, Kaoru, looking hurt, questioned him,

"Why, Hikaru? Do you not like being with me?" Kaoru asked with tear-filled eyes as a collective gasp was heard from the females.

"No Kaoru, you're mistaken," Hikaru replied, turning around and pulling his brother into his arms, "It's just that the rag reminded me of the wash cloth I had used to scrub your back yesterday during our shower, and was grumpy about wasting time here with the stupid table, instead of spending it with you."

"H-Hikaru!" Kaoru blushed, delighted and touched by Hikaru's words.

"Kaoru," Hikaru replied, caressing his face lightly with his hand.

Every female—sans Haruhi—in the room turned to croon at the 'brothers' moment', and a handful of them fainted.

Kyouya raised an eyebrow before scribbling into his book. Their skills have gone up a notch again.

Afterward, when the customers were gone, Kyouya sat down to type the day's recordings into his laptop, and overheard the twins' hushed conversation.

"Ne, Hikaru. Wasn't it a close one today? We always use a sponge, not a wash cloth."

Kyouya flattered for a second before hitting the backspace button twice.

"Ah yes. And I wonder if Haruhi would prefer us using a sponge too?"

He had to re-write the next few paragraphs for a couple of times.

"Well, maybe we should soak in a bath-tub together and use our hands."

Kyouya lost the whole document when he accidentally pressed the switch, and the screen went blank.

"Do you think that was a little too harsh?" Kaoru asked.

"Nope," Hikaru answered.

"Neither do I. It's always interesting to see Kyouya-sempai lose his cool, eh?"
