Len's PV
I walked around the country. "Dang, where on earth is the castle? Don't they know I have to send this files by tonight?" I sighed and muttered to myself. I've seen the castle since I arrived here, but I hadn't find even a way to reach the place. I wonder why did people here make such a complicated design for their city?
The road wasn't really crowded. It's 8 pm already. People would've stayed in their houses. Only 5 or 6 people still walked on the same road with me. I kicked a certain tiny stone in despair. It hitted a back of a teal-haired girl.
"..When I went to a neighbouring country
In town I caught sight of a girl of green.."
"Auch!"
She groaned in pain. I startled and fasten my pace. I walked towards her. "I'm sorry. I didn't mean to… did it hurt you?". The girl glared at me. "Nothing" she said. She smiled at me. "Are you new here? I've never seen you before" "Ngg… nope. I live next to this country" I replied.
"I see." That girl added "Anyway what are you doing here? Why don't you stay in your home?" She asked. I was just staring at her, speechless. "Umm… I didn't mean to… I meant, why don't you stay in your home, since it's night already?".
I snapped out of my day-dreaming. "I... I have to send these files to the palace by tonight . Ah, can you tell me how to reach there? I didn't find one since I arrived here."
Once more, the girl smiled. Innocently. "Sure," she said as she told me the direction to the castle. "So, could you remember the direction?". I nodded. "Thank you very much!" I grate her. "It was nothing." She said, still with smile on her face. "Now, go. You said you have to send those to the palace by tonight, didn't you? It may need 1 or 2 hours to reach there by foot. Better to take a ride" I nodded and run towards the castle. "Thanks!" I waved my hand. She waved hers, as well.
Then I walked according to her instruction. "What a nice girl.." I thought. "Why didn't I ask her name?" I blamed my self for being so stupid. What was a strange feeling I get when I meet that girl? I kept wondering to myself on my way to the palace.
I left back to my country as soon as I've sent those files.

"..Once upon a time, there was a treacherous kingdom..

..A princess of age fourteen.."
Rin Kagamine. My twin sister, and a queen of this country of yellow as well. We're twins, but seems that our parents had already decided different futures for us.
"..You're a princess, I'm a servant..
..Destiny separated pitiful twins.."
For some reasons, they chose Rin as the ruler of the kingdom, and me, as her personal servant – before they went somewhere, never and will not ever returned to the castle.
"..Inside expectations we were born.."
..For the convenience of selfish adults..
..Our future was split in two.."
As I expected, Rin inherited both of my parents' selfishness. She governs the kingdom as she desired, never caring her fellow's fate. She killed – I meant, I killed those innocent people under her orders with no hestitate.
Everyone in the entire country obeyed her just because they're afraid of her. Once Rin lost her throne, everyone would have excecuted her in front of the fellows right after that. So, I was born in order to protect her from horrible things. I'll never regret it.
"..Even if all the world became your enemy..
I will protect you, so you just be there, smiling.."

"But thousands of people in my country are dying! Please.."
Rin turned her face to the other direction and sat on the throne. "I don't care"
The woman in red armor drawed her sword. I jumped to protect the princess as 2 escorts held her hands. "You insolent person!" she shouted. "You have a mountain of gold and you even can't help them? Poor you!" "I didn't say I can't give them food. I said that I won't". The woman had already reached her limit. She would've attacted Rin with her sword, if the escorts didn't hinder her. "You daughter of evil! You don't even care about human's life!" The princess claped her hands. "Get this woman out of my country. Now". Some escorts guided her forcefully to the door. "Someday you'll pay for this! I promise!".
She never respect human's life, as usual. I have no choice but to obey her order. Even if everyone hate me or humiliate me as a moroon for being Rin's 'puppet', I'm still on her side.
"..If it's for the sake of protecting you, I'll become evil for you.."

"Len~~~~!" I looked at the source of the voice as Rin embrace me from my back
"Ah, morning, Ohime-sama. Did you sleep well?" I turned around and look down with a smile.
"Uh, Len!" She frowned. "I've told you for million times! Just call me 'Rin'! Just for us, no need for those formalities!" "But you're the queen now and I'm just one of your servants. Everybody know that, Ohime-sama" I replied calmly. I just can't tell her that we're blood-related, right?
'"Do I care? From now on, no more 'Ohime-sama' 'Princess' 'Your Highness' or such a thing. Just call me Rin. Ah, forget it. Anyway Len, I have something to tell you."

Rin's PV
"..Luxurious and gorgeous furnishings..
..The servant had a very similar face ..

I'm bored. Me? Bored? Ha! How foolish, right? But that's the reality. Although everyone envied me. Althought I have everything on my own. I have the entire kingdom under my command. I have those servants to serve me. I have my fellow citizens. I have my throne. I have everything, but why did I feel that 'something' is still empty? I have Len, and I…
Well, talking about Len… and his 'Ohime-sama' phrase. 'Ohime-sama'. I don't care if the entire world called me with such a name, but when it came from Len, definitely I don't like it anymore. We grew up together. He's a figure of an older brother for me. Not a servant. Geez, I hate it. If that's not Len, probably I've purged him due to his stubborness.
But Len is the only one I love. As my brother, my best friend, and the only one who will always be there, right beside me, when everything probably become my enemy.

I told Len about my boredom. He listened to me carefully, and then asked me to go outside the castle with him. I hardly refused him. Did he remember the last time I went outside when we were just kids? Those people looked at us in a strange way and chattered. I heard what they said about me and Len. I really hate that. I wonder if I was the queen at that time, maybe they aren't still alive today?
But Len forced me in his own way. He said that being inside the castle for a long time isn't good for my health. According to his boring explanation, I needed fresh air, sunlight, ah.. Whatever it was. At last I agreed to go outside. How foolish.
Len told me to wear a robe that covers my whole body before going outside. "I don't want them to hurt you when they see your face, Ohime-sama. This robe might prevent it." He said. Actually I didn't really care, as long as he wear a robe as well.

We decided to go to the neighboring country. The first place we visited was the market. That was the only place we visited since I frowned and groaned all the time. Len always tried to calm me down. "Ano.. ah! Look at this, Ohime-sama! We won't find them in the castle, right? Or how 'bout this? Do you want me to buy them for you, Ohime-sama?" He said. I've tried to order and beg him. "Len c'mon lets go home!" I murmured.
"Nee, Ohime-sama… it's almost lunch time. Do you want to go back to the castle now?". I nodded, still with a frown on my face. Len smiled. "Well then," he said. "I'll buy you something and we head back to the castle. Is that okay, Ohime-sama?" I nodded and replied.. "Just go back to the castle now."
I saw him run to a certain shop. He bought me a beautiful golden necklace with diamonds on it. A really beautiful present.
He ran back towards me as a girl with long hair collided him. They both fell on the ground. I saw them apologizing each other. Then a person of blue caught my eyes. That man has a pair of emerald blue eyes, with shining blue hair and blue clothes.
Seconds later I felt a strange feeling I've never felt before. Suddenly my boredom vanished. I've got something to fill my 'empty' side. I was just staring at him, both admiring and day-dreaming.
"..The tyrant princess loved
The opposite side of the sea's person of blue.."
"Visit me anytime you like! I live here, so probably we'll meet each other later. Bye!" I saw that long-haired girl waved at Len and run towards 'the person of blue'. She hold the blue-haired man's hand and said something. They laughed and the blue-haired man stroked her hair.

Then they walked together, arm in arm. I could feel my blood boiled. I felt furious – in a different way.
"..The princess obsessed with jealousy.."
Len waved his hand and ran towards me. "Here it is, Ohime-sama. It's suited for you". He was about to put the necklace around my neck. I warded his hands off forcefully. The necklace fell onto the ground. Len stared at me. "Ohime-.." "Lets just go back to the castle!". I rushed. He took the necklace on the ground and fastened his pace to follow me.

Len's PV
"Visit me anytime you like! I live here, so probably we'll meet each other later. Bye!" She said. That girl lived in the country of Green. Her name was Hatsune Miku. Fortunately, she was the same girl who told me the direction to the castle that day!

"Bye!" I waved my hand. I saw her run towards 'the person of blue'. She hold the blue-haired man's hand and said something. They laughed and the blue-haired man stroked her hair. Then they walked together, arm in arm.
I felt really disappointed. I didn't expect that guy was hers. Well, it's normal if a girl like Miku is already taken to someone. I should have known that. Curses to my stupid self.
But seeing her happy with her own life, I have to be happy as well, right? Beside, I still have my princess to protect.
I ran towards Rin. Seems that she was in a really terrible mood. "Here it is, Ohime-sama. It's suited for you". I was about to put the necklace around my neck, but she refused my hands. It's weird. Usually she would've grab my hand and laugh in a cute high-pitched voice when I stuck my hand out. But this time was different.

Rin rushed to her bedroom. In this case she didn't want to be disturbed. I entered my bedroom and lied on my bed, thinking about Miku.
I'm happy that I could meet her, although she is already someone's. She's really kind and friendly. She smiled in a different way Rin did. I've never met a really kind and friendly girl like her. I meant I've never met a girl but Rin, except when she ordered me to kill some. Man, I'm really, really glad to see her…
"..From that kind voice and smiling face..
I fell in love at first sight.."

Hours later, Rin gathered all of the cabinet ministers. I wasn't permitted to attend the meeting. She said that she would tell me when the meeting over.
Later, the meeting was already over. I entered the room, wondering what was she talked about. "What happened, Ohime-sama?"
Rin didn't show any respond. At last she said "Len, you're my best servant, soldier, and assassin I've ever have". I glanced at her in confuse. "Go to the battlefield with other soldiers" She added. And in a quiet voice, she ordered
"..Destroy the country of green.."
I startled. Instead of refusing the order, I faked a smile and said "Everything for you, my lady…".
"..But if the princess wishes for that girl to be erased..
..I will answer that.."
I turned back to the entance door and left the room. My eyes were burnt. I could feel tears flowed down on my cheeks. I didn't even want to kill Miku, but I wanted Rin's happiness more. I headed back to my room and fell asleep while hoping this all were just kind of nightmare..
"..Why? My tears won't stop.."

The next day, the country of green was really stormed by the soldiers of the country of yellow. Kill or to be killed. They screamed and ran for their lives. But the soldier's strength was far beyond their defense. Flames, blood, and scream everywhere.
"..Many houses were being reduced to ashes.."
The soldiers kept killing those innocent citizens, just like the command of the Daughter of Evil. Blood spurted. I turned back and search for another preys.
"..Many lives were being lost.."
I entered a ruined house. Maybe someone was hiding inside. I purged the stone that block my way. I shocked when I saw the girl who was hiding inside. It was Miku. She was trembling and scared. I widened my eyes. "…Miku?"
Recognizing my voice, she seemed glad to see me. "Len! Is that really you?" she asked. "What happened? Why did the soldiers of yellow destroy this country? Why did they kill us? That's insane! We even have no problems with them!" she cried. I can't stand looking at her anymore. I tried my best not to cry and obey the order. "… I can't…" I said. "…Miku... I'm glad to meet you… I… I'm really sorry…"
I said as I stabbed my sword right on her left chest. She fell down. I bet the last thing she saw was my crying face. The face of the one who've killed her. Her corpse lied on the ground. I left my sword and ran back. Screaming and regretting what I've done.
"..The sorrow of the suffering people
Did not reach the princess.."

Rin's PV
I enjoyed the war inside the castle. Those flames and smokes were nothing but a show for me. Those sorrowful screames were my lullabies. My great soldiers, especially Len, have done such a great job.
Hours later, Len entered the room. His hands were fully covered by blood. His armor was lightly broken with blood and ashes on it. He said "Mission accomplished, Ohime-sama". I smirked.

The next afternoon, I was having my tea-time with Len beside me as I heard a voice of crowds outside the fort.
"What's that, Len?" He walked towards the large window and looked down. "Ohime-sama…" I standed up and saw a large number of citizens were gathering around the fort.
"..Those angry intentions that piled up
Wrapped around the whole country.."
"Look!" Len pointed at a certain direction. I saw many people from the castle went out and joined the crowds. "Those are my soldier, right? And even my ministers! Ah, nope. Everyone in the castle joined the crowds! What happened Len?" I asked in confuse.
"..In the end, the palace was surrounded.."
"Seems that everybody in this country is now opposing us, Ohime-sama" he said. "And the bad news, everyone in this castle are betraying you." He said.
"..And even the vassals escaped.."

Len's PV
"And the bad news is, everyone in this castle are betraying you." I said.
"That's impossible!" she shouted. I looked at the crowds once more. There stood a swordswoman in red armour. It was the her. She had her soldiers as well. I saw the person of blue beside her. And I'm sure that the blue guy is taking Miku's revenge.
I grabbed Rin's hand. "We're surrounded by those people. The country of red and the country of blue is about to attact us. Beside, the citizens are on their side and everybody in this castle have left us. It's no wonder we can win against them!" I said. "But Len-" "Just run for our lives!" I pulled her and ran. Then we entered Rin's bedroom.
"What's next, Len?" She asked. I tried my best to make a plan to escape. Suddenly the voice of crowds could be heard from the lower floor. "Dammit they've entered the castle already!". Rin was almost cry. I stared at her. Seconds later, I got a plan.
"I think I've gotten a nice plan, Ohime-sama" I said. "Really?" she asked in a grateful voice.
I embraced her for a long time, whispering something to her ear. Rin's tears dropped. "No, Len, you can't-!" "I love you, Rin, my beloved sister…" She looked startled. It's normal since she didn't even know that we both are twins. I smiled as I pushed her towards her closet and shut the door.
"..The lovely, attractive princess..
I put off my clothes and wear one of Rin's most extravagant gawn. I removed my pony-tail as fast as I could. Suddenly the door opened. The red swordswoman and her men dragged me forcefully. "You've to pay for your sins!" She said.
..Was finally caught.."

I didn't attempt to save myself, and I'll accept whatever they would have done to me after this.
I was dragged on a stage in front of the crowds. They tied my hands, so I could do nothing, even I didn't want to. A big guy pushed me to a certain wooden object.
The chruch bell rang. "Ah, it's almost lunch time…" I whispered. "Today's snack is brioche. It's one of your favorite, nee, Ohime-sama?"
The big guy cut the rope and that big knife fell down. I felt a horrible pain on my neck and everything became completely blank…

"I think I've gotten a nice plan, Ohime-sama" He said. "Really?" I asked.
He embraced me for a long time, whispering something to my ear. My tears drop. "No, Len, you can't-!" "I love you, Rin, my beloved sister…" Nonsense. What did he said? Sister? He never even told me that we're related! He smiled as he pushed me towards my closet.
He closed the door. Then I could hear those guys dragged Len somewhere. "Stop it!" I tried to shout under my cry. However my voice seemed gone. "You jerks can't do such a thing to Len! Stop it!". They can't just torture him like that. I just discovered the truth that I still have one of the persons I called 'family'!
At last I could open the door. The room was messy and empty. I ran down. My heart beats rapidly. What will they do to Len?
I went outside secretly. I weared the robe Len gave to me, probably no one would recognize my face. Len's last words were still echoing in my head…
"Before long this country will probably end by the hands of angered citizens,
I saw that they were about to excecuted Len on the stage.
…If this is what they say we deserve I will definately oppose that
I really wanted to scream. The daughter of evil is here! Right behind you all!
Even if all the world became your enemy,
He is not me! He is Len Kagamine! He can't die in my place!
