Blackmail

Len's POV

Crap, crap, crap, crap! I'm dead! I can't believe that I was so careless!

"Crap!"

"What's wrong Lenny?" Miku asks, messing with my short ponytail as we walk away from the park.

"What, nothing," I must have said that aloud, darn. "I-I just stubbed my toe." Big lie.

Okay, I think that Rin and Kaito saw me kissing Miku. I don't think that Miku noticed them though. I don't really mind Rin seeing because the worst that she could possibly do is to tell on me but she's my sister and she won't tell if I beg, Kaito on the other hand, he'll try blackmailing me.

"Augg!"

"Len, what's wrong?" Miku asks a little concerned with my sudden anger that is probably entwined around my voice as she stops both of us on our way back to her house.

"My toe still hurts." I mumble as I pick up my left foot and hop forward on my right to entertain her.

Miku surprises me with a huge laugh, not one bit sarcastic sounding and starts walking again. I put my foot back down as we continue in the noon's sunlight.

Kaito's POV

Ha! Len, I finally have something to use against you, what was that called again…oh yeah, blackmail, yep blackmail…sweet blackmail. I jump up out of the bushes in triumph after seeing Len and Miku make out on the other side of it. Wait 'till Rin hears this.

"Kaito?" Rin sees me jump out of the bushes. I turn around and look at her expression, it's confused and surprised, like she was hiding in a game of Hide 'n Seek and I just found her naked on accident.

"What were you doing hiding in the bushes like that?" She asks as she notices that I'm covered in a lot of bush debris since I was spying on Len for so long, probably thinking that I was with someone she looks around the bush only to find my snack−ice cream−half melted in the grass.

"Wait 'till you hear." I knell down to pick up my favorite ice cream spoon, the one shaped like an ice cream cone for the handle and a blue ice cream scoop as the spoon part. After inspecting it carefully for grass and bugs, I lick off the melting ice cream, still knelling over the rest of my melted ice cream mess, savoring the taste of it and the look of Rin's expression.

"Okay," I say as I stand up very tall over Rin and explain to her everything that I saw and heard ten minutes ago. I watch as her face lights up as she realizes that we both have a huge blackmailing opportunity spread out and handed to us over a silver platter−or ice cream bowl−for us to use and enjoy.

After explaining everything, I decide to walk Rin home to see if the Kagamines have any spare ice cream for me.

Rin's POV

"I'm home, Mom." I say as I walk through the door with Kaito wanting some ice cream.

"She's not home."

"Len is that you?" I lean my head around the kitchen doorway, well aware that Kaito is jumping up and down with his 'ice cream spoon' in his hands which are pressed against his chest.

"Yep, who else?" He walks out of the kitchen, looking at his feet with a gallon of vanilla ice cream for Kaito waiting in his outstretched hand. Seeing the ice cream, Kaito runs to take it almost knocking myself and Len to the ground. After gaining possession of his precious ice cream, he takes it into the living room and flops down onto the yellow−Kagamine trademark−leather couch and dives into the ice cream with his ice cream spoon.

Len sits down on the other couch and turns on the TV, leaving me standing awkwardly by the kitchen. I grab a granola bar and walk away from the kitchen, hoping to mess with Len for a little while before using my master plan on him.

Len's POV

Crappy, crap, cooking,− I flip through the TV channels finding nothing interesting.

"Hey Len, Kaito told me that you and Miku were an item now."

Oh no.

I jump up off of the couch and I get down on my knees in front of Rin. I see Kaito stop his eating and look at me and Rin but I don't care.

"Please, please, please, please, please, Rin don't tell! I-I'll do anything! If you tell, Mom will kill me for sure. I'll do all of your chores for a week, I-I'll do your homework. Anything! Just don't tell!" I look up to see if she was gonna tell. I must have looked a little confused because she didn't look like she was gonna tell at all. I look back down at the floor.

"Anything?" Rin and Kaito ask at the same time. I glare at Kaito from under my hair then look directly back towards the floor in case Rin was looking.

"Yes, anything, anything at all. You name it, just as long as you don't tell anyone! Please."

"Okay Len, I ask of one thing," She grabs onto my tie and brings our foreheads to touch each others. I cringe at the situation I'm in. There is a long pause as we try to read each other's thoughts without giving away our own.

"You have to kiss me tonight." She whispers to me.

"What!" I pull away from her only to hit my head as I fall backwards allowing her to pin me down.

"You're my sister! What about Kaito−" I hear the door close. Thanks Kaito, thanks a lot.

"Kaito's gone." She says this very seductively as she gets off of me allowing me to stand up and brush myself off.

"Why?" I ask now standing with my back slightly turned towards her.

"Be-because I want you to be my first and not some love crazed lunatic. I want to share my first kiss with someone wh-who knows what to do and who knows me." I turn to see her tears running down her face. She was really being sincere about this. If I say no she'll not only tell but she will feel disposed or denied or both and if I say yes I will be committing incest just so that she can avoid her first kiss from being with a 'love crazed lunatic' as if it will change those lunatics in the future. I feel sorry for Rin.

I move in to kiss her, choosing 'yes'. She deserves better than all of those love crazed lunatics put together and I know that.
