Chapter 5
Taken!

Len's POV

I ducked as the axe almost came down on me again. I was in deep shit. What was I going to do? This guy was going to kill me eventually with the bloody, yes bloody, axe that he was swinging around.

"Lenny-chan~!" Ted sang maniacally. "If you don't stay still, Rinny-chan will be hurt~!"

"Do you think I want to die, physco?" I yelled at him, shakily.

I glanced at my phone that had been knocked out of my hand at some time. Maybe I could call the police and they could get here quick enough without him getting me or Rin! Unfortunately, Ted also saw the phone.

"Ah ha!" he said, snatching up the phone. "You won't be calling your precious Rinny-chan to say goodbye!"

"Your crazy!" I said, quickly turning away form Ted.

"I'll make a deal with you, Lenny!" Ted said, his eyes cat-like. "If you come with me, I'll leave Rinny-chan alone!"

I gasped. "You wnat to kidnap me?"

Ted nodded. "You won't be the first"

I thought about it. If I went with him then he would leave Rin alone. At least I wouldn't be alone in the place wherever he was taking me. I looked up into Ted's face and slowly nodded.

"I'll go"

Rin's POV

I watched in horror as Kasane Ted dragged Len away to a car that he had parked a long way away. I was totally shocked but also confused at the same time.

Why had Len come to meet Ted? Why in the park? Why was Ted trying to kill Len earlier? And also why was Ted dragging Len away to some unknown place? All these questions and more ran through my head as I watched Len's motionless eyes stare down at the ropes that Ted had bound him with.

My heart hurt. My "brother" was being taken away and I couldn't do anything about it.

Then I noticed Len's phone in Ted's hands. Ted had taken it away from him hadn't he? Maybe he would give it back and Len could call me and explain everything in the situation.

I watched as Ted threw Len into the backseat of the car. Then he hopped into the driver's seat and started it up. The last thing before he drove away was roll down his window and throw Len's phone out to the sidewalk. I was surprised that it looked undamaged when I made my way over to it after Ted had drove away with Len.

I picked it up into my hands.

"New message?" I asked as I checked Len's messages.

Evidently, Len had been getting mysterious text messages from some unknown person. For some reason, I had a feeling that that person was Kasane Ted.

I went back to the new message and took a deep breath before I opened it.

To: Kagamine Len

From: Unknown and or Blocked Number

You have found me out,

I took a deep breath before I read the rest.

haven't you, Kagamine Rin?

And then I was hit roughly over the head. The last thing I heard before blacking out was a maniacal laugh. I also seen a shadow. The shadow resembled...

Teto?

Mikuo's POV

Kaiko and I had ended up getting our hands unstuck from the tight ropes while the killer was out getting his "prey". Now, all we had to do was find some method of escape.

Unfortunately, the door opened so Kaiko I quickly pretended our hands were still tied up. The killer walked in and tossed a boy with blond hair and shocking blue eyes into the room. Then, he shut the door and walked off, once again telling Kaiko that she was going to die soon. That frustrated me.

The boy stared up at me and into my eyes. Then, he gasped.

"You look exactly like Miku-san!" he said, pointing rudely at me. "And you look exactly like Kaito-sama!" he yelled, pointing at Kaiko this time.

"You know my sister?" I asked, confused.

"You know my brother?" Kaiko asked at the same time as me.

The boy nodded. "Who are you?"

"Hatsune Mikuo" I said, staring at him.

"Shion Kaiko" Kaiko said.

"I'm Kagamine Len" the boy said. "Hatsune Miku is one of the students at my school. She's a good friend to me. Shion Kaito is Miku-san's, Rin's, and my homeroom teacher"

"Who's Rin, might I ask?" I said.

"My sister that I was taken away from" Len said. "Ted makes me so sick!"

"Ted?" I asked. "Is that the killer's name?"

Len nodded. "He is also a student at the school I go to. Him and his sister Teto both came at the same time. Akita Neru-chan has been showing them around since"

"Who's Akita Neru?" Kaiko asked.

Len sighed, evidently tired of the questions. "Another friend that goes to school with me"

"I wish I could go to high school" Kaiko said, dreamily. "But I'm going to be k-killed some apparently"

"I told you I'll protect you!" I said, frustrated.

Kaiko blushed. "O-okay"

Len stared at us and then smirked. "Are you two dating?"

"Eh?" We both said at the same time in answer to the question.

And then the door once again opened, revealing the face of Kasane Ted. He was sneering at all of us and I just looked at him, afraid that it was time to kill Kaiko.

My worse fears were deemed true as he took the axe and tried to attack Kaiko. But I jumped in the way which ended with me getting a large wound in my stomach.

"Damn you" I told Ted before I blacked out.

At least I had protected Kaiko.

That was all I could do at the moment.

At exactly 10 in the morning, a girl that goes by the name of Tanya was pushed off of her bed by her younger sister, Tamara. She growled at her from her position on the floor.

"Happy birthday!" Tamara said, throwing confetti on her. "You just became old today! I'm still young!"

Tanya sighed. "At least there isn't going to be anymore surprises"

"Oh, that's what you think!" Tamara said, grinning.

And at that moment, tons of people glomped Tanya from her place on the floor, all screaming out...

"HAPPY SWEET SIXTEEN!"

And then balloons rained down from the ceiling and all encircled around Tanya who was still shocked by the group hug and confetti. She had a smile on her face though.

This was going to be a great birthday.
