Chapter 6
Blood and Dust

Len's POV

Hatsune Mikuo's blood gathered at my feet and I intensely stared at it. I didn't know what to do know. I did know the situation though. Ted had tried to hit Kaiko with the axe but Mikuo, trying to protect Kaiko like he said he would, jumped in the way and got hit instead. Now, he was unconscious and currently dying.

I was frozen. I couldn't do anything. Kaiko was crying over Mikuo's body. I could tell she was in love with him so that's a sad thing for her. Ted was retrieving his axe which had been thrown across the room after it hit Mikuo in his stomach. That was a total surprise. I had battled with myself over whether or not I should go get it.

"M-Mikuo?" I tried my voice out, almost hyperventilating. "A-are you o-okay?"

No answer. Just Kaiko's intense crying.

And then the door opened once again to reveal something that could have made me cry.

Rin's POV

"Here we are!" I heard the pinkette's cheerful voice say when the car finally stopped.

I couldn't believe that Teto would kidnap me and I was as sure as hell that she was bringing me to the same place Len was. My head hurt and I was sure it was bleeding from the blow I took. I was quite ready to get out of the stuffy car, however. I had awoken about 20 minutes ago but had pretended I was still unconscious due to the fact that I couldn't escape anyway. I was profusely tied up with a very hard kind of rope that wasn't breakable.

Teto dragged my body over to the entrance of some kind of garage. She seemed very happy to get there. I still had many questions and I needed someone to answer them soon.

She opened the door and threw me inside. My back hit the hard floor and I cried out in pain, singnaling that I was once again awake. Teto stared down at me with cat-like eyes.

"Oh~" she muttered. "You were awake, Rinny-chan~!"

"Crazy" I said, trying to break free of the ropes.

"Kekekekekeke~" Teto laughed out. "Don't try, Rinny!"

"Rin?" I heard a familiar voice say.

That's when I decided to look around the room that I was currently in. Len was watching a girl that resembled Kaito-sensei cry over a boy that resembled Miku. I was totally confused. Ted was currently advancing on the Kaito look-alike. I don't think she noticed as he lifted up the axe and brought it down on her head.

Crackkkkkk...

The Kaito look-alike fell to the ground, her tears finally subsiding. Her head was menacingly cracked open and I couldn't help but feel tears come to my eyes. I don't even know this girl but it still hurt to see someone die in front of my eyes. Len was crying profusely and saying 'Kaiko, why?' over and over again.

'Kaiko's' last words were,

"I love you, Mikuo"

I couldn't help but wonder though, if her precious Mikuo was the dying boy on the ground.

Mikuo's POV

I hurt.

I hurt all over while I see is darkness.

My sense of hearing is extremely perfect though. That's funny how I can still hear and have all of my other senses but I can't move. Strange. My whole body hurts.

I heard the words, "I love you, Mikuo" being cried out.

I knew the voice. I couldn't quite picture the person in my mind but I knew it had to be someone important. I felt really warm when that person said that so I figured I must love them back too.

I heard the crack and it hurt my ears. I managed to force my eyes open to see what was happening. She was laying down on the ground and was bleeding.

She was dead.

Suddenly, it all came back to me. That was Kaiko. The person I loved.

Tears came to my eyes as I muttered a few words,

"I love you too, Kaiko"

And then I blacked out once more.

Luka's POV

"I haven't seen her in forever!" I protested.

"Megurine-san" Kaito said, calmly. "What am I supposed to do about this?"

"Rin AND Len were absent all day today!" I exclaimed.

"One day can not be filed as a 'MISSING STUDENT' case" Kaito explained.

This guy made me so sick. Kagamine Rin was my best friend and she hasn't missed a day of school since 1st grade. I really do think something is wrong with this. It doesn't help that Kagamine Rin, Kasane Ted, Kasane Teto, and Akita Neru are absent today too. I think that they're all in on something and I'm going to find out what.

Neru's POV

They're missing.

I walked out of the police department with a sad look plastered on my face. Ted and Teto have been missing for a complete 24 hours. I don't know what to do about this.

The police tracked their cell phones to an abandoned garage and now I officially knew that they had been killed. They were young so why did they get killed.

I was on my way over to the garage to confirm my fears and hope that they were just playing a trick on me. When I arrived there, they will be so dead if they aren't already.

I arrived at the garage and stared up at it. How could they hide here?

I went over to the door and firmly opened it.

"Ted! Teto!" I called, walking in.

But something stopped me in my tracks. Ted with an axe chopping up a girl that looked like Kaito-sensei, Teto pulling Kagamine Rin over to Ted while laughing, Kagamine Len crying, and finally a Miku look-alike that was evidently dead. At least, I thought the boy was dead. He wasn't really moving.

"What the hell is going on here?" I screamed, taking a step back and running.

Never had I seen that much blood. And I never want to see it again.
