Chapter 11
More to the Plot

Lily POV:

Does Kagamine Rin really think that my plan is over? If that's what she thinks then that just makes my plan even more devious.. Although I hate to dissapoint my Len-Len, I have to show him that he made the worst mistake of his life dating that good-for-nothing tramp! You just watch Len, I'll win you over that girl and as for you Rin, I hope you are used to being hated.. hehehe...

Morning walking to school..

Len POV:

Rin and I were just peacefully walking to school. I still felt really bad for what had happened to Rin at our date.. She has to go to school with bandages on her legs and arms and even on her face because of me. Geez.. I'm so stupid..

~ Flashback on date ~

As I had bandaged Rin up in the infirmary, I couldn't help but feel extremely bad about what had happened to her.. I mean I should be ashamed at myself for making other people do this to her.. And even so, I shouldn't have left her alone, by herself, in the open where sickos like that one tall dude that took Rin away just a couple minutes ago.. UGH I HATE MYSELF.. I didn't notice but I must have been frowning to myself about this and Rin had put her fingers at my mouth and lifted my lips upward to form a some-what smile. She told me to be positive and smile, and that she was fine. I just slightly laughed at her response to my frowning and stood up since I was done with bandaging anyway. Rin attempted to stand up by herself but before she hurt herself even more, I picked her up again and carried her by my back.

"L-Len? I-I can walk now, it's okay!"

"No you can't, don't lie. I don't like it when you overwork youself.. So just rest up for today okay?"

She stayed quiet after that comment and just layed her head against my shoulder. That's when my right arm started to hurt. I winced in the slight pain and my arm staggered just a little bit.

"Len? Are you okay?" Rin asked with worry in her tone.

"Huh? Yeah I'm fine.." I countered.

"Are you sure? Does your arm hurt?" She countered back.

"No, my arm is fine.." I said quietly.

"Okay then.." She replied tiredly.

"Are you tired?" I inquired.

"W-What? Oh.. A little.." She said while yawning.

"Go to sleep.. I'll carry you home too." I said..

"You don't need to-" She started to say, but she ended up falling asleep talking.

"How cute.." I said to myself.

As I was walking however, my right arm started to hurt again, I tried my best not to wake Rin up from my arm shaking from pain and I sighed in relief that I didn't wake her up.

I saw Teto and Ted at the meeting point that we said we would meet at, at precisely 8 PM and I was waiting for Teto and Ted's expression to see a sleeping, injured Rin on my back.

"What happened Len?" Teto exclaimed.

"Shhh! I'll explain if you be quiet.." I whispered.

"Wow what could have happened to make Rin at this state?" Ted inquired.

On the way home I explained to them about what happened and they seemed to have understood the predicament. I heard Teto clench her two fists and she said to herself, "If I ever see those good-for-nothing little bitches I swear there won't be another tomorrow for them, those little pieces of-" She had to stop there because Ted had put his hand covering her mouth to shut her up. "Okay Teto, whatever makes you happy.. But lets not talk about that now okay?" he had said calmly trying to calm her down.

"Oh fine, but mark my word, I will get them back!" Teto had said with confidence.

"Whatever floats your boat Teto.. Whatever floats your boat.." Ted said while scratching his head.

I laughed at how well they get along and some-what argued at the same time. That's when, while they were arguing anyway, Rin was talking in her sleep.

"Don't overwork yourself Len.." She had said drowsily.

I smiled at how worried she was for me, but it's not like my arm is going to get messed up even more for carrying Rin or protecting her right? Speaking of which, she is extremely light, I wonder if she eats propertly.. Anyhow, we had just arrived at Rin and Teto's house and I wasn't paying attention to anything that Teto and Ted had said. I wasn't really interested in listening to their childish, lovey-dovey arguments. At least not right now. Anyway, I entered her house and carried Rin to her bed and put her down, tucked her in. I turned around and started walking out of her room, but before I did leave her room, I turned back around moved her hair out of the way of her face and kissed her forehead.

"Thanks for worrying for me." I said with a smile and left her room.

~ End of Flashback ~

I sighed and blushed at the same time at remembering what I had done last night and realizing how embarrassing it was. I then tried to move my right arm and winced at the pain it had given me. I also couldn't sleep last night and I felt really sick. I ignored it though, I mean it can't be that bad right? Rin had to be looking at me when I winced and looked at me with concern.

"Len.. Are you okay? Does your arm hurt?" She said with a concerned tone.

"H-Huh? Ahh, I'm fine don't worry about it! Hehe.. I just slept wrong thats all.. Anyways stop worrying about me and worry about yourself! You're still bandaged up and you're limping!" I said a little too nervously.

"Ohh.. well okay then.. Just let me know when it hurts a lot okay?" She said quietly.

"Don't worry about it I will." I said with a smile.

I couldn't help but to smile at how much she worried about me, despite the fact that she was probably more injured than me at this point of time. Although her wounds were less serious than my arm, she had many of those little wounds everywhere so that kind of made me feel horrible. I felt a rush of pain come in my arm and my arm flinched at the pain. God Damn it! Why is it hurting this much..? Rin must have noticed my pain and went over to my right side and started to massage my arm.

"W-What are you doing?" I asked blushing.

"You said you slept wrong right? I am just massaging it to make it feel better! I mean it would help right? This is what I do when my arm hurts from sleeping wrong." She said cheerfully.

She had massaged the most painful part, probably the origin of the pain and I winced in pain. "Ow.."

"Wahh! Are you okay?" She asked in concern.

"It's okay, I'm fine. It just hurt when you pushed on that part of my arm. It's probably the origin of the irritation I was getting." I said while laughing.

"Oh okay. Just let me know when it hurts okay?"

"Haha.. Okay. Don't over work your arms now! It's not like your arms are in tip-top shape either! You don't have to go this far for my arm!"

"Haha its okay Len~ My arms are in better condition then yours so its fine!" She said while giggling.

I was laughing again. She just acts so cute sometimes, that it overpowers the current mood I am in. In this case, she pushed away the worry out of my head and made me laugh. No one was able to do this. Absolutely No one.

As we entered the school people were eyeing us down, particularly Rin. I glared at anyone that I had caught looking at Rin with a look of 'I wanna kill you' written on their face. I just gave them a 'Not if I kill you first' look. I looked down at Rin who was avoiding eye contact with everyone and before I could say something, all of a sudden Teto came up behind and said,

"WHAT ARE YOU ALL LOOKING AT? THERE IS NOTHING TO SEEE! GO DO SOMETHING AND STOP WASTING YOUR TIME STARING AT PEOPLE! ESPECIALLY MY RIN! WHAT ARE YOU STILL DOING? MOVE ALONG! SHOO! BEFORE I KILL YOU WITH MY BREAD YOU STUPID BASTARDS!"

Okay so I lied she didn't really "say" it but she "yelled" it. As people started walking away, Teto, Ted, Rin, and I started to walk to gym. Although I tried to talk Rin out of doinn anything physical, the coaches, being the bastards they are refused and made Rin do the work-outs. I was seriously going to start a fight with them, but Rin stopped me from doing so and refrained me. I just slowly calmed down and went in the changing room to change.

Rin POV:

Teto and I went inside the Ladies Changing Room and got changed into our gym clothing. Although I thought and predicted that I would be allowed excused from the physical activities, I was still premitted to do it. I didn't really complain, but Len almost started to yell and cause another fight. I had to hold him back and talked him out of doing anything unneccessary. After me and Teto got changed we all went outside to the many basketball courts and started doing the workouts. I had a little bit of trouble doing them but I eventually finished. Len kept looking at me, making sure that I didn't hurt myself or something. Apperently today's sport was basketball and so we had gotten into groups. I wasn't in the same group as Teto, Ted, nor Len so I felt kind of lonely but I thought I should have fun anyway. As we were playing basket ball however, I saw with my peripheral vision, many basketballs coming my direction. I had always been afraid of balls flying my direction and I just stood there closing my eyes screaming. It was apperently Lily's doing so I heard.

"Rin!" Teto and Ted had yelled.

I closed my eyes even tighter and waited for the pain to come. Then someone swooped me away.. Len?

Len POV:

I swooped Rin out of the way and I shielded Rin's body. Instead of her getting hit, I did. They were hitting particularly my bad arm and I winced at the unbelievable pain. I have never experienced such pain in my life.. ever. Rin and I were both on the floor. I came to my senses and sat up and faced Rin. She was still lying on the ground, and using my arms I picked her up. I flinched from the pain but kept going.

"Ne, Rin are you okay? Are you hurt?" I asked.

"N-No, but are you?" she asked nervously.

"It's fine! See I'm okay!" I said while moving my arm which actually really hurt.

"Are you sure?" I see she was convinced..

"Y-Yeah, I'm fine." I said.

"O-Okay.. Sorry.." She replied.

She really does apologize way too much... Geez. As we got up, we entered the gym and we were going to have a day where we could do anything but nothing. As in we needed to do some sort of movement or else we would get in deep trouble. I mean its called PHYSICAL education for a reason you know.. Anyway, Ted and Iwere talking while Rin and Teto were talking in the other side. God.. My arm hurts really bad, I should stop using it for the day.. Starting.. right... now!

Lily POV:

Damn it! The basketballs were supposed to hit Rin not our Len-Len! We have to think of something more sneakier.. Something more painful.. but the most hardest thing we have here in this gym is the footballs. I mean our footballs were like rock-hard. When we were playing football for the first time in this school last year as freshman, I swear those things could break a bone. Actually it did break like a handful of people's bones last year. Even more people broke them this year. It's like they freeze it or something.

"That's it! Gumi! Grab the hardest football you can find. If we grab all the footballs then the coaches would ask questions. So grab the hardest you can find, because we need to break someone's face.."

Len POV:

Okay, I promised myself that I wouldn't use my arm at all for the day at least. I don't think its a good sign if it keeps hurting throughout the day so yeah-you get the point. I was having a conversation with Ted when I saw Lily looking devious. She always did, but something is up her sleeve I know it. I mean she and Gumi threw like 12 dozen basketballs at Rin, or at least attempted to that is and they had an unbelievably hard throw. Even I was shocked. Gumi had grabbed a football and believe me those things are rock hard. If that hits your face, you are most likely going to have to take a trip to the doctors. Then it clicked. They're going to throw it at Rin, when she least expects it. Probably when she is away from Teto or something. Where she is alone.. I started to shake as I saw that Teto turned to our direction and ran over to us. I quickly glanced over at Lily who was ready to throw the football as Rin turned her back towards us to where she was facing the wall. Lily threw the ball and that's when I started to run. Damn it! I swear if my legs fail me now, I will never forgive myself.. As I drew nearer to Rin I heard Teto yell,

"Rin! Behind you!"

Before Rin had a chance to turn around however, I grabbed a hold of her and pushed her out of the way, although she was okay, I wasn't.. The football didn't hit either of us, but as I pushed Rin out of the way, I had tripped and I slammed against the wall of the gym. And guess what it hit.. my right arm. It hurt like hell.. It was the most worst thing I had ever experienced in my life. I cursed to myself at the pain, but I didn't yell.. no matter how much I wanted to.

"Len!" Rin had almost screamed from seeing me hit the wall.

"A-A-Are y-you okay R-Rin?" I asked, while wincing with pain.

"Am I okay? What about you? Why did you do that?" Rin had said almost at the urge of tears.

I stayed quiet. Why do I feel dizzy? Oh god, don't tell me that I am really that sick.. I felt sick this morning but it can't be that it got worse..

"Come on we're going to the nurse's office right now!" she yelled while grabbing my left arm. I didn't argue and followed. But, as we left the gym however, I stopped.

"Len! What are you doing? We have to get to the nurses now! You're arm could be in bad condition!" she said.

"It's fine Rin.. I'll be fine.."

"N-No you won't Len!" Rin cried. "Why did you do that? Why didn't you just let me get hit by that ball?" she quietly asked again.

"Because... I..."

"You what...? I could have lived if I got hit by the ball! You just injured yourself more Len.. because of me.." I felt really dizzy and really hot as Rin said this. I felt even worse than this morning though.. First I'm sick and now my arm hurts like hell..

"Because.. I.. I... love.. yo-" I said before breaking out in cold sweat and passing out. My head fell onto Rin's shoulder.

Rin POV:

"Y-You w-what?"

But before he could finish saying that three word sentence, he passed out on my shoulder while grabbing onto his arm. Poor Len.. He probably didn't want me to worry about him. I put my arms around his body and hugged him. With a smile I said, "I love you too, Len.."
