"Come on Len!" Rin pulls her twin's arm as she tries to pull him into the biggest closet in the house...Kaito's and Miku's, their legal guardian, Kaito, and their almost sister, Miku, shared a room and therefore a very large closet. "Let's play dress-up!" A large smile was planted on Rin's lips, the blond loved to bug her twin, especially when he pouted.
"No." Len was being firm as he pouted, trying not to be pulled away by his stronger twin. He hated being the weak one, the shota...[i]cute.[i] The very word made him angry. He was fourteen and he wasn't gonna let himself be pulled off to play "dress-up" with his elders' clothing by his sister.
"Why not?" Rin let go of his arm, planning to surprise him once he relaxed, but she whined her question out to Len with a pouting mouth and a pair of puppy-dog eyes anyway.
"Because I'm don't want to be dragged around by you anymore." Len replied as he put his guard down, maybe a bit too fast, immediately wishing that he could take his words back, when he saw Rin's eyes water. Len hugged her but it didn't seem to do anything, good or bad.
"You...you don't want me...as a sister...anymore?" Rin was crying, faking tears on the outside but knew that she'd win and was grinning on the inside as Len let his guard down further to comfort her. She dabbed at her eyes to seem more convincing, obviously working.
"No, no, no. That's...that's not what I meant...I mean..." Len was out for the count. He couldn't remember why he didn't want to play dress-up in the first place. Seeing Rin sad always made him feel guilty and forgetful. Rin saw her opportunity after she removed her hands from her line of sight. Len was already confused and she grabbed his arm quickly, rushing him to their destination.
Rin's tears had been fake so they had already disappeared as she pulled Kaito's robe over Len's head and wrapped his signature scarf around Len's neck. Len got to keep his cargo's. Everything of Kaito's on Len was incredibly big on him, he was so small. Rin got into Miku's signature outfit and put her hair up in Miku's signature style in record time, Len was still confused over how fast Rin recovered from tears.
Rin ran to Len and glomped him, he was able to keep his footing as he looked into the mirror that they were hugging in front of, pouting and blushing slightly in anger when he saw that he was already in Kaito's clothes, Rin's in Miku's, smiling still.
"It's not that bad, see." Rin tells him happily. He just continues to pout in response. He should have seen this coming.
