Chapter 9
Road Rollers

Rin woke up to find...

Len. Looking as sweet as he had been the day before.

"Aw..." Rin muttered under her breath, "And I thought Meiko might have done something useful..."

Rin poked his cheek lightly, sitting. Len moved a little, but he didn't seem to leave his dreams from Rin's touch.

'I'm so lucky it's the weekend...' Rin thought, 'Or I'd have to meet Miku and knock her down...'

Rin just sat, watching the small boy sleep until he awoke. Rin wasn't expecting it though, she wasn't expecting his usual aqua eyes to be gold. He yawned.

"Good morning, Rin~" He said softly, his head resting on the pillow, "What are you staring at?"

"Y-Your eyes..." Rin said.

"Hm~?" Len asked, rubbing the sleep out of his eyes, "I don't get it."

"Are you feeling okay, Len?" Rin replied.

"Yeah! I feel like a princess~" Rin had to laugh, no boy in their right mind would ever say that.

"Sure, sure." Rin said, "I'll be back in a second, I just need to phone Meiko."

Rin almost sprinted out of her bedroom and grabbed the phone from the hook in the hallway.

"Hello? Oh, Rinny. Is that you?"

"Meiko, I don't know what you've done, but you'd better explain before I come over to your place right now." Rin growled.

"Haha! No need to be touchy about it! It's only what I put in his milkshake yesterday!"

"Which was?" Rin asked.

"One of Mei's surprise ingredients! I'll tell you though, Len might have a few fainting spells~!"

"Meiko-"

"Ooh, gotta go, booze is on the line, bye bye Rinny~"

Meiko hung up. Rin slammed the phone back on the hook and grimaced. She walked back to her bedroom to find that Len had disappeared.

'Stupid life...' She thought as she walked downstairs slowly.

The doorbell rang.

"Hmmm..." Rin muttered as walked over to the door and opened it.

"Oh, hey Rin." Miku said lazily, "Where's Len?"

"WHY THE HELL ARE YOU TALKING TO ME LIKE WE'RE FRIENDS?" Rin shouted, "BECAUSE WE'RE NOT, I HATE YOU!"

"Jeez, Rin." Miku replied calmly, "I don't want to be involved in this crap, I just want to be Len's girlfriend."

"...So why are you here?" Rin asked quietly.

"Because they said if I get Len I can date him." Miku replied flatly.

"I hate-"

"Hey, Rin~" Len sang, popping out from behind the older blonde girl, "I heard shouting, why~?"

He looked up, "Oh! Miku-chan!"

"Hi there Lenny." Miku said, "I just came to pick you up, why don't you get your stuff?"

"Okay!" Len said, hopping upstairs, Miku was a little surprised that he didn't argue.

"I'm shocked that your team didn't age him up before they angel-fied him." Miku stated boredom dripping in him words.

"Angel-fy?" Rin asked.

"You see that his eyes are that pretty gold colour? It's a power up. He can do awesome stuff now, and he doesn't even know it." Miku said, yawning.

"And why would I let you take him?" Rin asked angrily.

"Because if you don't he'll start crying and trust me, it's impossible to disagree with him when he's crying."

"Heh, whatever." Rin said, "I don't like kids, anyway."

"I'm ready!" Len said, running down the stairs, "Bye Rin!"

Rin grabbed his hand, "Um..."

"I have to go now, Rin!" Len said, "Bye!"

"Don't go with Miku, she's bad." Rin whispered.

Len laughed, ripping Rin's hand from his.

Rin had been pacing all day since Len had left, she knew that he shouldn't have left so easily. She knew she had to get him back, but how? It was time to plan.

Rin smiled widely, holding her long list of ideas to get Len back up. The list read;

Brainwash him

Aliens

Kill Miku (!)

Get Meiko's help

Make Len fall in love with me and then hold hands and walk off into the sunset

Ask the heavens

Eat an orange

Get a huge supply of bananas and tempt Len with them

Orange?

Kill Mikuo

Just kill both Miku and Mikuo because they are both idiots

Actually, kill Meiko as well because all she does is drink

Text Len

Change Len's age and then sneak him out of Miku and Mikuo's house while he is passed out from his body changing

Rin decided that the best option was to kill Miku...and then eat an orange and walk off into the sunset with Len.

"Yes!" Rin exclaimed, "But how to kill her..?"

Rin wrote a new list of ways to kill her enemy, but she only had one answer: ROADROLLER.

"Hey, Lily?" Rin called, "I'm gonna need your help..."

"Me?" Lily asked.

"Yes, I am in need of your...transportation stealing services..." Rin said with a giggle.

Lily frowned, this couldn't end well, but nobody messed with Rin when she was in a mood like that.

"Haha, okay." Lily replied, giving a forced laugh.

"I knew you'd comply." Rin said with a creepy grin.
