First Time

Tenten smiled happily as she walked around Konoha. She sat down on a rocky cliff and watched the beautiful sunset.

She sighed happily and closed her eyes, going down memory lane.

-Flashback-

First time… she was in love.

The ten year old Tenten sat in class watching a familiar Hyuuga train. She wasn't sure why she would always watch him, and why she was always nervous when he talked to her.

Was it love?

Tenten continued watching Neji from behind the tree, hoping he didn't notice her presence.

"Tenten, stop hiding."

Crap.

She giggled nervously and stepped out, raising a hand to make sure her hair was all right.

Whoa. What?

Tenten was ANYTHING but a girly girl. She was tough, a weapon mistress, and a tomboy. Since when did she care about her hair?

And since when did she get nervous around boys? Apparently, she only got nervous around Neji.

"Neji… I wanted to ask you something…"

"Hn."

She blushed as she looked into his pale lavender eyes, "If I, I mean, a girl, not me, just any random girl, felt nervous and self conscious every time I was around you, I MEAN any girl around any guy, do you know why she'd feel that way?"

Neji stared at her like she was crazy while Tenten blushed furiously, Well, I totally messed that up… I pretty much gave it away I like him…

Neji stared up at the sky watching the birds, "I guess… you'd be in love with me then."

Tenten's blush deepened, "Who said I was the girl and you were the boy! I tried to cover it!"

Pause.

Neji smirked at her.

She flushed brilliantly red, and ran away from him.

They didn't talk to each other for a whole week.

-End flashback-

Tenten giggled. That was horribly embarrassing.

-Flashback-

First time… she was admitted her feelings

"N-Neji…"

"You sound like Hinata."

"You know we're in the same cell now…" Tenten said nervously.

"Hn."

"Well… I think I like you…"

"Hn."

"No, more like love."

"You're just a teammate to me."

"I love you," she said softly but looked him straight in the eyes.

Two seconds later, she bolted home.

-End flashback-

Tenten's cheeks turned a pleasant tomato red when she still remembered that. She should've picked a better time…

-Flashback-

First time… she was rejected.

"I love you!" Tenten yelled with tears streaming down her face.

"So?" Neji responded coldly.

"I'd die for you! I'll do ANYTHING to make you happy!"

"So?"

She broke down crying and ran away.

-End flashback-

A small tear glided down when she remembered how cold Neji was toward her.

-Flashback-

First time… he confessed.

A fourteen year old looked around for her sparring partner. Usually she was late, not Neji.

"Hey Tenten…"

She spun around and her face broke into a grin, "Hi Neji!"

He walked up to her, avoiding eye contact, and was he blushing?

No. Hyuuga Neji NEVER ever blushed.

"I wanted to say…"

"Yes?" Tenten asked hopefully staring at him with her best innocent angel look.

The blush became more evident.

"I…"

"Yes?"

"Iloveyou."

"….Wha…?"

Neji took a deep breath. Hinata was the one that was nervous. Not him.

"I. Love. You."

She stared at him and smiled, "I love you too…"

He smirked, "Then let's start sparring."

-End flashback-

Tenten rolled her eyes. Right after the confession, he went straight on to sparring. Wow. How romantic.

-Flashback-

The first time… he kissed her.

"Will you be my girlfriend?"

"YES!" she yelled and jumped onto him.

He smiled, "I'll pick you up tonight at 6," he said and left.

Two hours later, Tenten heard the doorbell ring. She ran downstairs and saw Neji in a tuxedo, looking hotter than ever. (A/N Hahaha… I won't go on… XD)

She was wearing a black dress that ended a couple of inches belong her knees, and the fabric was silky smooth. Small diamonds embedded the border, and it had a halter top, which crisscrossed in the back.

"You look nice," he said softly offering her his arm.

She blushed and put a hand on his arm, "You've warmed up so much…"

"You're the fire that melted the ice."

After dinner, he led her to a rocky cliff.

"Open your eyes."

Tenten opened her eyes and gasped, "It's so pretty!"

"Not as pretty as you…"

She blushed again, and the blush deepened when she felt his arm around her waist, and his finger under her chin so they made eye contact.

"N-Neji?"

"I love you…" he murmured gazing into her eyes.

"I love you too…" she said softly and leaned in.

She closed the gap in between them, and wrapped her arms around his neck. He pulled her closer to him, and was the first to pull back for air.

He smirked, "I asked Uchiha where the most romantic place in Konoha was… was this romantic enough for you?"

"Yes…" she said softly burying her face in his shirt, "You're no longer the emotionless ice cube… well… you still sort of am…"

He chuckled, "You're the light in my life…"

-End flashback-

Tenten smiled. She was sitting right where she got her first kiss. And it was very romantic.

"Tenten?"

Tenten turned her head around and smiled, "Neji!"

He smirked and sat down next to her, "I was wondering where you were… what are you doing?"

"Going down memory lane."

She rested her head on his shoulder and watched the setting sun, "I love you so much…"

"Love you too…"
