Chapter 5
The Blue Castle

She had soon found the castle, where it was in the middle of the city. She had gotten a job easily as a servant, disguised as Len, of course. Kaito had been busy, she had not seen the prince she wanted to kill yet. It was only a matter of time, though.

One day she carried a tray to Kaito's room. It was only a simple breakfast, just eggs, sausage, bacon, milk, and some biscuits. She knocked on the door. "Breakfast, your Highness."

"Come in," came his voice from inside the room.

She opened the door, balancing the tray on one hand before holding it with both hands again and walking into the room.

"You look familiar," Kaito said, narrowing his eyes.

She immediately nodded. "Yes, your Highness. I am the twin brother of Princess Rin from the Yellow Country. My name is Len Kagamine."

"What are you doing here? Princess Rin has been dead for about a year."

"I merely have been looking for work. I find it a bit more comfortable to stay working in a castle."

"And so you came to this castle?"

"I could never work in the Yellow Country's castle ever again, and working in the Green Castle would only make me feel more guilty about what I was ordered to do over a year ago, your Highness. This is the nearest castle."

"I see… Dismissed."

She nodded and left the room. How much longer it would take until she could get her revenge, she didn't know. But when that moment came, she would be ready.

She walked through the corridors, Len and Miku sitting on the roof of the castle.

"Can angels eat?" Len asked Miku.

"Yeah, it's really nice. We never really get hungry though, and we don't gain any weight. So we can still have the yummy tastes of food we like in our mouths," Miku giggled.

Len chuckled. "That sounds great."
