"Now, open your eyes" a deep male voice commanded. A pair of vibrant blue eyes slowly opened. The man who had spoken brushed a few strands of bright blonde hair to the side of her face.
"Hello" he said calmly.
"Hello" her blue eyes moved to meet his.
"Do you know your name?" he asked her slowly so that she might comprehend.
"Kagamine Rin, sir" she stated just as slowly, now moving her mechanical body.
"Good, do you know who I am?" he asked, normally now. He moved back so as to admire the entire effect.
"My creator, master" she said, also normally. She gazed at him with glass eyes as he stared her down.
"Beautiful, now, I have someone I want you to meet" she drilled him with her curious eyes as he left the room. He turned back and motioned for Rin to follow. The robot complied.
He led her to another room right next to the one she was previously in. when he opened the door he was met with another pair of flashy blue eyes.
"This is your twin unit, Kagamine-" he didn't get to finish.
"LEN!" Rin screamed, jumping on him the minute she saw him the other blonde.
"RIN-SAMA!" he called out, laughing. He twirled her around gently before holding her close. Memories rushed back to the pair as they hugged each other. A yellow rose, a knife, the rebellion, lens death, that day on the pier, the wish in a bottle... her wish had come true.
"I've missed you Len. I'm so sorry" she whispered into her brother's ear.
"It's all right." he whispered back, "everything's all right!" he was laughing again. Emotions flooded the pair as they sat back to back, content.
"Strange," their creator thought, "it was not in their programming to know each other..."
