THIS IS WHAT REALLY HAPPENED:
When Rin and Len were little their parents separated them and gave Rin to the king and Len to a farmer.
Rin grew up to be the prinncess and Len became the servant of her. Len knew that they were twins but Rin didn't. Len became Rin's favorite servant. A begger named Meiko was always asking the princess for food and money, so Rin had her family killed. One day Kaito, the Prince of the blue country, sailed over and Rin fell in love with him. He then continued across the land and fell in love with Miku, the daughter of a rich merchant. He forgot about Rin and they arranged to be married. Rin was angry and didn't know who Miku was so she asked Len to have every woman with green hair killed. Little did she know, Len was in love with Miku, but he still killed her. Kaito was very angry so he found Meiko and together they raised all the townspeople into an army and stormed the castle. Len found out about what they were planning and told Rin to switch clothes with him and nobody would notice because they were twins. Meiko came in and imediently knew about the fake princess. She took Len away anyway. She put him in jail and the next day at three he went to the gallows for a public exicution. Rin was in the crowds crying for the loss of her brother but then she went where Len had told her to go, an abandoned church by the sea. There she sent a message in a bottle and went to live in the church. There she found a girl who was already living there. The girl said that her name was Haku and that she came to live here after her best friend was killed by the horrible Yellow princess. Rin felt bad and went into the confession box to confess. Haku overheard her say that she was the daughter of evil. That night she found Rin on the shore and decided to put an end to her life. She came up behind her with a knife, raised it, and found she couldn't do it. She went back inside and never spoke about it again. Then I don't know what happened but somehow everybody ended up back at the beginning with a new life, given as a chance to start over.
