Chapter 15
We ran out the door, with me picking up the knife, and sliding it in my pocket first. You never know.
Our feet touched the grass and we tried running all the way home until we were half way there. We just couldn't run any longer. We fell to the ground, and I set Rin down gently so we could take a breather. I then heard rustling in the bushes. "Who's there?" I asked quietly. A woman with long curly blond, probably of middle-age, stepped out. "Who are you?" I asked, as the woman approached me.
"Len? Len–Kuhn? Is it really you?" I shortly nodded. "My name's Len. What's yours?" "Well, if you were to call me anything it would be mom." The woman said smiling. I blinked, this couldn't be true. "M-mom?" She nodded. I then burst into tears as she hugged me. "I didn't think I'd ever see you again!" I cried, as she embraced me tight.
Just then, Rin woke up. "Mama?" Rin asked. Wow, she can figure things out better than me. Mom hugged Rin too, as I asked her if she had a van, "Preferably one with six more seats." Mom nodded, as she led us to her van. We all got in, buckled up, and we started on our way home. But before then, I guess Shooter and Miku decided on a triose. "Friends?" Shooter asked. Miku smiled, and replies, "Friends." They shook hands, and now the friend business is in order.
