Chapter 2
I had just finished reading Chapter 1, when I was interrupted by a cry unmistakably from Rin. I sprawled to my feet, threw my manga down and yelled, "Rin?" She cried louder. I ran into the family room. Her cries grew louder. "Rin?" I ran into the kitchen and saw Rin lying on the ground with a bag of Bōkun Habanero (spicy Japanese potato chips) spilled on the floor.
"Rin!" I ran to her with tears forming in my eyes. I turned her over and saw a large strip of blood going across her face. She was staring right in front of her, dazed (mental disorder). Her eyes had tears in them too. She got out of her daze and started to scream and cry (but if you had a mental disorder, you'd be spazzing out too) "Shhh…it's okay," I tried to calm her down.
I picked her up, and she rested her head on my shoulder. I felt her warm tears on my neck. I walked to the bathroom (the one with the sink) and I sat her on the counter as I got a washcloth, and put water and a dash of disinfectant on it. "This could sting a teensy-bit." I told her as I gently dabbed the wash cloth on the blood. She squealed, so I pushed her head on my shoulder. When most the blood was gone, I held her face in my hands. "I hope you learned your lesson." I harshly said, looking over the scar on her face. She just cried out and rested her head back on my shoulder.
We stayed like that for about, three hours. I looked at my watch. Twelve A.M! Boy, time really flies when you're holding your sister. "Rin, I think it's time to go to bed," She buried her head deep in my shoulder, moving from one side to another as she whispered, "Nii- san." Then went completely still except her body moving up and down from her steady breathing. I could tell she was fast asleep. "Oh well, I guess I'll carry her to our room." I whispered to myself.
So I re-picked her up and carried her off to our room. Once I stood in front of the white painted wood door, there was a sign that read リンとレン (Rin and Len). I turned the knob, stepped inside and closed the door behind me. Rin was starting to hurt my back, so l laid her down on the bed, pulled back her bangs, and kissed her on the forehead. I love my sister a lot, but sometimes, she can be a hassle.
I thought for a second and locked the door. You never know, if someone were to get in we'd have about a ten second head start. Anyway, I was thinking about putting Rin's nightgown on for her but, uh…. That would be rude (and scary) on so many different levels. So, I decided not to change her or my clothes and just go to sleep.
