Chapter 8

I got up and ran. I sprinted away from that school as fast as I could. "Len!" Luka yelled, getting up to chase after me. "You're expelled too! You're all expelled!" I heard Sensei Kyo yell, while pointing to all the people I told you about earlier. "What the heck? What even for?" I heard Miku say. "None of your business young lady! Now leave! Go home! All of you!"

Miku, Kaito, Ritsu, Miki, Neru, Gumi, Teto, Shooter, and Luka headed my way. When they caught up, Gumi asked, " What're supposed to do now?" "Well I don't know about you guys," Luka Started, "But one week from now, I'm going to help Len get his sister back! Who's with me?" she stuck out her hand for everyone to slap on top of it. I smiled and put my hand on hers, followed by Shooter, Gumi, and Teto. The bullies didn't exactly jump to the offer.

I stared at Miku and she stared back. After awhile of staring she blew out a big gust of air, and put her hand in, but no one else decided to. "Guys.." Miku said, as her lip quivered. "Bye Miku," Miki said harshly. "See ya Miku," Kaito and Ritsu said snobbishly together. "I really think you'd ditch us for those losers," Neru said, and she smacked Miku right in the face. Her eyes teared up as she rubbed the spot Neru had slapped.

I took her hand away and kissed the spot. She smiled and wrapped her arms around me. I noticed Luka's face turned a dark shade of red, and her eyes narrowed. I let go of Miku and walked over to Luka. I stroked her long soft pink hair. She put her arms around me and I did the same. I'm a bit shorter than her so I'm always buried in her shoulder.

"I love you, Len," Luka said. I responded with, "I love you, too." "Umm…Guys?" Gumi finally asked, after around ten minutes of silence. "Yeah?" Luka answered. "How are WE gonna pull this off?" "Well, we're going to have to start planning. How about this. We tell all our parents it's a two week vacation, and we're spending it at Gumi's." We all nodded. "And if they ask why we have a two week vacation?" Teto asked. " There's a virus going around in the school, and they're cleaning up the school to make it safe again," Luka said. "Good idea," I replied, looking up at Luka smiling.

"Okay, let's go to my place, we can phone our families there," Gumi said. We all agreed and headed towards Gumi's. Luka and I finally broke apart, but our hands still clung together and there's no way to break that combination.
