Words From My Heart

Chapter 12

We got on our school uniforms to make it look like we were going on a field trip there. "Great idea Len!" Luka told me. "Thanks." I replied. "Now let's go into town."

20 Minutes Later

We're in town, waiting for Shooter to "Work her magic". "Go on ahead Black." Miku snobbishly said. Shooter gave her a grumpy look, and then whistled loudly with her fingers. "Taxi!" she yelled. Just then, an old, broken down taxi showed up.

"Nice!" Teto told her. But Miku, of course, was not satisfied. "Ick! You couldn't have summoned a more sanitary one?" she yelled in Shooter's direction. "Shut up." Shooter mumbled.

The taxi guy then rolled down his window and told us, "I can only take three." "Well can't you get another guy to come down here? Quick too! We're in a hurry!" I asked very annoyed by his tone. "Alright! Alright! Geez kid, take a chill pill."

He grabbed a walkie-talkie that looked like it had been destroyed, then fairly mended. "Hey Gakupo, get yer' butt down here on seventh street. We've got three kids here needin a ride to-" "Akuma Hiru." I told him, shivering because I'm really cold here! "Akuma Hiru." He stopped pressing the button to talk and then listened. "Yeah shure. Be there in a sec."

The second taxi showed up moments later. "Gumi, Teto, Miku, you guys get in the first one. Luka, Shooter, and I will get in the second." I told everybody. Everyone nodded to the plan and got in the taxi they were assigned to. I sat in the front next the taxi driver, whose name was apparently Gakupo.

"Twenty-One thousand yen dude." He told me. "Sure." I reached in my pocket, and pulled out the exact amount. "Here." I looked up at him, and he looked back at me. Our eyes widened then I handed him the money. "Len? What's the matter?" Shooter asked. I know I mentioned before, that Kaito Shion and Gakupo Kamui tried to kill me, but this was Gakupo. I never believed I'd see him again.

He stuffed the money in his pocket, and then I tried to escape. But unfortunately, I only opened the door by the time he grabbed me by the shoulder and asked me, "Akuma Hiru right…Len?" I nodded and shut the door and buckled up. I think he was mainly just making sure I was the kid who punched him in the jaw. I think that might be my specialty, by the way.

I sank down in my seat, and held onto my stomach. "Don't worry Len, I'm not gonna hurt you." He whispered so the girls wouldn't hear. I let out a breath of air and sat up. "So how come you guys are heading to an evil place like Akuma Hiru?" he asked us. "We've got to go save Len's twin sister." "Wait-evil?" I asked. He nodded and asked, "You're not checking her out, are you?" I shook my head. "Well then stand clear of the guards, okay?" I weakly smiled, and nodded. "And-Len?" I looked nervously at him. "Y-Yeah?" "I'm-sorry, for what I did before." "That's okay."

For the next three hours, we spent most the time in silence. When we arrived, we jumped out of the taxi along with Gakupo. "Mind if I come with you?" he asked. "Not a bit!" I told him happily (man, I must be the girly-ist guy on the planet). Miku, Teto, and Gumi stepped out with Teto exclaiming, "My rear end's numb!" I cracked up, along with of course, no one. Everyone stared at me, and I just stated, "Heh, uh….anyway! Let's go!"

"Umm, Len? We've got a problem." Gumi told me. "Aww. I thought my plan was totally flawless." I sighed. "So what's the problem?" "You friend isn't wearing a school uniform." I thought for a second. He is taller than us. AHA! I've got it! "He's our Sensei!"
