Chapter 1
The New Guy

Rin POV:

I woke up to the sound of the birds chirping outside my house. I glance over at my clock.

"Oh its already this late, oh well I'm probably late at this point anyway so I might as well take my time .."I said as I walked to the bathroom and took my time getting ready for school.

I got my school uniform, which was a sailor uniform ehh nothing special. I walked out the bathroom and got my bag and went to the kitchen, grabbed an orange and headed for the door.

"Ittekimasu.." I said, knowing my mom wasn't home anyway.. maybe it's just a reflex..?

My father was abusive and left us when I was 8 and my mom was never home she was always looking for a job early in the morning and comes home late at night to get nothing. If she ever got hired she would get fired not too long after. That's why I have a couple jobs myself to help my mother with maintaining our lives. Anyway back to reality I was walking to school while peeling my orange and I saw my school, Vocaloid High School. I finished my orange and I entered the school. I looked at the wall clock and sighed, "I'm 10 minutes late.. time to get an earful from sensei.."

Meanwhile..

Len POV:

Well, it's my first day here at Vocaloid High School and already girls are bugging me. I really hoped this wouldn't happen at my new school, but it did.. God.. I wish I didn't stand out.. I'm not trying to seem popular at all, It's just that I find it really annoying..

The class bell rang and I just stood next to the door since I didn't have a seat yet anyway. Our Sensei was Sensei Megurine Luka.

She announced to the whole class, "Hello class, as you can see we have a new student, his name is Kagamine Len. Everyone please welcome him."

I just say what an average new student would say at times like this, "I'm Kagamine Len and I look forward to a good time at Vocaloid High School." And that somehow made a couple girls blush.. Wow.

"Anyway Sensei Luka where will I sit?" Luka replied, "Oh, Rin is probably late again… Well why don't you take a seat by the window over by the right."

"Umm okay" was all that I could really say.. And who was this Rin girl anyway?
